Madagascar - October 2025​ - NEXT BIG ADVENTURE

Our next adventure together, is to the famous and mysterious Madagascar, also known as the “Red Island”, Africa’s biggest island, from 5 October to 26 October 2025. Lemurs, chameleons, baobabs, unique landscapes abound. Given the quality of roads and distances involved, it is not possible to do Madagascar well as a short trip, hence to accommodate both those tight on time, as well as the adventurous, the trip will take place as three phases, with the possibility of leaving and joining before and after any given subcomponent:

Unlike our previous destinations, in Madagascar US Dollar is very much the unit of account for larger transactions, so all prices are quoted and will be billed in USD.

The trip price covers all land transport, activities, accommodation, and organizational costs. Accommodation is on a bed-only basis, so food and drinks are not included. You can expect to spend around $25 to $50 per day on meals, mostly à la carte. Wherever possible, we’re also working in self-catering options to help reduce costs for those who prefer it.

Booking & Optional Costs

A non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of registration. The remaining balance will be billed by August 31.
Optional add-ons include:

A river cruise from Miandrivazo to Belo Tsiribihina for approximately $200, depending on the number of participants.

Early exit or late start flights to/from Morondava or Tulear (instead of overland travel) for around $200 extra per flight, depending on how early they’re booked.
In case of cancellation, part of the final payment may be refundable, depending on circumstances.
